We meet at Kita-Kamakura station before the crowds and wander down through Zen temples, a bamboo grove and the lanes most visitors never find.
Lunch is at a soba shop I've been going to for years. We finish near the Great Buddha around 1:30, with plenty of time to keep exploring on your own.
